We just put up the 24th episode of the Mega64 Podcast! We spend this one talking about our PAX experience, as well as the other usual hogwash. There’s no work today so you have no excuse to listen (like you have a job anyway)!

We also wanted to let you know that Rocco from Mega64 will be a guest on the live internet talk show “Coin-Op TV Live” this Sunday, September 16th, at 8PM PST/11PM EST! Watch the show live at www.thestream.tv and see the host, Rob, grill Rocco for an hour about god knows what. They’ll be taking your questions during the show as well, so be sure to tune in! Knowing Rocco, it’s bound to be a trainwreck.

We also might have another TV appearance coming up soon- We’ll keep you posted on that.

So, what to hold you over until then? Check out our long-awaited photo galleries from Comic Con 2007 and PAX 2007! I dare you to find a gallery full of more embarrassed people ANYWHERE on the internet. Yeah, that’s right. Not possible.

And that reminds me- We want to put a big Sexy64 gallery on the site, of all the people who sexified themselves for our Sexy64 contest a while back. But the thing is, Myspace shut down the Sexy64 page (Apparently due to us “faking our age.” Uh, okay), so we can’t really find all your pictures anymore. If you’d like your Sexy64 photos to show up on Mega64.com in our gallery, email your photos and links to rocco@mega64.com and we’ll round ‘em all up!

The Mega64 Podcast #25 is now released! Why not listen?

As you may have heard in Rocco’s recent tell-all interview on Coin-Op TV, Mega64 has plans to release a new segment on 9/25/07, at 12:30AM on SpikeTV’s “Gamehead.” We’ve also been told it might be showing up on Xbox Live that same night too in High Definition.

What could this segment be, you ask? Well, think really hard about what game might be coming out that same night, and we think some of you brainiacs just might be able to piece it together!

The skit will also be on our site a little later too, of course.

So there, quick news update. We almost might be ready to finally make a big announcement regarding something cool with Mega64 soon. We’re really excited about it. We hope you are too.

In case you didn’t see it Monday night on SpikeTV, here is our video about the Halo 3 release date. Frankly, we are SHOCKED at the inconsiderateness of Bungie to release their game on this date. They are overshadowing a MUCH BETTER TITLE and are hurting their image by going through with this. Email or call Microsoft today and get them to pull Halo 3 off the shelves before it’s too late.

If you don’t feel like downloading the HD version of this video on your computer, then watch it in HD on your Xbox 360- It should be going up on Xbox Live shortly (if it hasn’t already).
