Having just launched the official Mega64 Video Podcast last week, we thought we’d break the world record for “Quickest Podcast Collapse” by not offering a new episode this week. We apologize- It was due to unforseen disaster, and we all feel truly, truly horrible about it.

But hey, if you REALLY want your Mega64 fix for the week, come see us at Anime Los Angeles on Saturday, January 5th at 11! There’ll be fun and guests and free stuff and surprises! And big swords.

WATCH OUR ARMOR GAMES AD AGAIN!

For years, people have asked us what would happen if we played something that wasn’t a video game. Our natural thought was “Let’s play cards!” But alas, twelve games of Go Fish later, we were ready to end Mega64 for good.

That is, until a box of Magic cards showed up at our door. We have always been fans of cards with mythical creatures on them, so we knew we had to give the game a try. What happened later can only be described as… supernatural. Watch our video about playing Magic the Gathering for this timeless tale of dramatic cardism.

Yeah, so, in case you didn’t notice, last Tuesday’s podcast (Number 34) didn’t go up as planned. There are server-ish things going on behind the scenes and we just plain couldn’t upload it to you.

We’re sorry we let you down! We should let you know now, though, that the episode is now online, and you can download it from the links on the left, or watch it below. The only catch is, the Flash version below only has roughly half of the podcast. To get the whole thing, you’ll have to subscribe to the feed! (That’s not a form of punishment, it’s that Blip.TV kinda sucks).

Before we go, we thought we should tell you that our Version 1 and 2 DVDs are just about gone. Actually Version 2 is totally sold out, but Version 1 still has a few copies left. And we seriously mean just a few. Once they’re gone, they won’t be back at that price again… if they come back at all!
