3/19/08: MEGA64 GOES TO VEGAS! WATCH OUR ADS FOR “RAINBOW SIX VEGAS 2!”

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

As most of you “gamerz” know, today marks the release of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 2 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. We at Mega64 traveled to Las Vegas to film some ads for the game, and you can now watch them online!

The first ad features terrorist activity in Vegas!

The second ad features Derrick’s daring search for terrorist!

The third ad has no terrorists… but LOTS of marketing!

And then watch this zany outtakes video!

Hope you enjoy the new videos… Don’t forget we put up a new podcast yesterday too. You can watch it below or subscribe to the left. We don’t really talk about the new R6 videos (we’ll do that next Tuesday), but we DO talk about, uh… actually, I don’t know, I couldn’t sit through it.

3/20/07: VERSION 1 DVD BACK ON SALE! SUPER MARIO AFTERMATH! YALL READY FOR THIS DUN NUH NUH

After much demand, the Version 1 DVD is BACK ON SALE! It’s the 2-Disc collection of public access episodes where Mega64 began… Check out this rippin’ clip for a taste!

Order now while supplies last!

We also wanted to tell you really quick about the aftermath of our latest Super Mario Bros. skit featuring a certain “special guest.” Every day from filming the skit until now has been pure insanity. It looks like the clip is going on to become the most downloaded Mega64 clip ever made. We’ve gotten advertisement offers (most of them bad), offers to run the bit on national TV (which looks like it’ll happen soon, actually), and some stuff I can’t talk about that has absolutely floored all of us. I want to thank you guys for spreading this thing around! And special thanks to our guest in the video… for, you know, doing some pretty cool stuff too.

Check out our photos from filming the skit (and other GDC craziness) right here.

We have some more new videos on the way… stay tuned!
