First thing’s first- Our new partnership with Youtube is starting to take shape, so be sure to check out the fresh, new, official Mega64 Youtube channel for all your video perusings! It’s at Youtube.com/Mega64.

So we’d like to take this opportunity to confirm the conventions we’ll be appearing at for the rest of the summer- If you can make it, come to these upcoming events to meet the Mega64 crew, pick up a Con exclusive DVD, and have us sign stuff! Preferrably not moist things.

-We are now CONFIRMED for Fan Expo in Toronto, Canada, August 22-24th! We’ll be at Booth 539 every day of the show, selling our merch, slingin’ Con Exclusive DVDs, and being dumbasses in general. We’ll have a panel that Sunday at 2PM in room 715A, too! We’ll be showing new videos, doing Q&A, and lord knows what else.

-We are then coming to PAX in Seattle, August 29-31! We’ll be at the oversized Booth 125 all weekend, haulin’ merch and shakin’ hands! Con Exclusive DVDs will be available here too! And on Saturday the 30th at 3PM in the Serpent Theater, we’ll be having a panel entitled “Mega64: Panel! At The Expo,” where we’ll show new skits, do Q&A, the usual. But after the panel, stick around for a special Mega64 screening of our new full length episode, “The Wizard II.” Enough of you people complained about not being able to see the episode at our premiere screening in San Diego, so we thought we’d give a little taste of it to Washington. Hopefully, they won’t spit up too much.

So come see us! But hey, if you can’t make it, it’s okay- We still have our podcasts together. Which brings us to this week’s Mega64 Podcast #60. After over a year of being buried away in the Mega64 vaults, we’ve finally released an ad we did for a guitar-based Nintendo DS game (which we won’t say the title of). It ended up catching heat from the ratings board (not the game company) over something we did in it. It’s uncut and a little long, but watch it with some friends and see if you can guess why the ad got rejected before the video is over. It’s a fun challenge, because you’re probably going to guess wrong. Very wrong.

Accompanying that is a recut of the video we did to please the ratings board! Hopefully they’ll approve this one- What do you think? Which version do you like better?

We also wanted to tell you that we’ve officially begun our new Sexy64 contest! The guys-only gaming league is offering a VERY sexy prize to the best entry in one of these categories.

Weating a Sexy64 shirt, do one of these:

-Take a photo of yourself picking up girls (But NOT letting them play games)

OR

-Make a Youtube video showcasing your sexiness and/or recruiting new members!

The last news item of the day is a reminder that we are coming to FanExpo in Toronto this weekend, August 22-24! Don’t forget we’ll be at Booth 539, and having a panel on Sunday at 2PM in room 715A! We’re premiering some rad new stuff so you don’t want to miss it!
