We thinly veil another week of Mega64 reruns with a tree-scented blanket of Christmas cheer! Today we have FINALLY uploaded 2005′s “Family Christmas Special” to the internet for the first time. This video was made in 2005 for the intention of giving it to friends and family on DVD. It was never really publicly released until 2007′s “Mega64 Time” DVD, and only now released onto the internet. Do you have enough holiday cheer to stomach it? Watch it here or on Youtube in HD.

Our Final Fantasy XIII video from IGN just keeps on moving, too. CollegeHumor inexplicably linked to us, which is amazing considering one of our life goals was being linked to next to the Cute College Girl of the day. In any case, keep the video going! There’s just not enough FFXIII hype yet.

The first major disaster of the Christmas 2009 season has struck the Mega64.com online store!

Apparently, all our Version 2 DVD’s are sold out. The holiday season depleted what was left, and the whole Black Friday thing probably didn’t help either. We can’t say for sure when they’ll be back, but we should let you know that if you’ve been planning to buy a Version 1 DVD, you might want to get on it now, as those are about to go away soon too. I know, it’s crazy they’re selling out! The demand for poorly produced video content is higher than ever.
