Thursday, April 1st, 2010
We at Mega64 are proud to announce that our Batman: Arkham Asylum skit, made for Version 3 and shown at GDC 2010, is finally released online. Can this dark knight defeat the Joker’s goons and solve a mystery before the public notices? Honestly? Do you have to ask?
Watch this dark new video here or on Youtube in HD.
We are also happy to let you know that we have released our new Mega64 Portrait Poster Prints in our online store. These stunning prints painted by the very talented Emily “Ferret” Irwin showcase the STUNNING history behind Mega64′s noble men. You can buy any of the Mega64 crew that you want, OR get all four for a good deal. These went incredibly fast when we showed them off at PAX East, so you art connoisseurs should probably act fast. Get ‘em now!
We wanted to thank everyone who came to PAX East last week- It was one of the craziest experiences we’ve ever had. We had no idea the demand for Mega64 would be so high on the east coast- Apparently you guys really like dumb videos out there!
In all seriousness, thanks to everyone who showed up, especially to our panel. We’re really sorry to anybody who wasn’t able to get in- The people at PAX put us in the second biggest theater at the convention center, which everyone thought was MORE than enough (We are typically able to squeeze everyone in at any given PAX). But this theater was bigger than ever, and I’m told they still turned a couple hundred people away. We’re really sorry- Nobody knew that could even happen at all. We’ll figure something out for next time. Until then, thanks to all the folks at Penny Arcade for inviting us in the first place- They’ve really made an incredible event, and it’s only going to get better.
There won’t be a new podcast this weekend, or next week, because of Easter-related activity. But do come back soon regardless- We may be finally announcing something here that we’ve been waiting on… and maybe we just want to do it on a day that isn’t April Fool’s… Until then!
