THIS IS RED DEAD RIDICULOUS!!

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010

No, really- that’s the name of our new video we produced for IGN. It’s a tale of obsession, of western values, of… Well, alright, the game the video’s based on will probably be deeper than the video itself. But you may see an injured kneecap or two. Watch it here.

We want to apologize for Sunday’s live show mishaps. In the past month or so, we’ve purchased a lot of new camera equipment to make our skits look exciting and new! But for some reason, once we did this, all of our pre-existing camera equipment all broke within a week of each other. Oh, and a mic broke too! We’re not even joking- A bunch of totally unrelated equipment all just finally died. It’s kind of heartbreaking, isn’t it? We almost wonder if there’s some kind of Toy Story situation going on in our studio when we’re not around, and none of the cameras could bear to live together anymore. These are things that make sense at 3:40AM.

Anyway, we’ll try to get things ironed out, but we’ll just have to play it by ear until then. In the meantime, please return soon- More video fun is imminent!

FORGET ‘AVATAR’- GAMER WARZ 2 CHANGES THE WORLD THROUGH FILM

Friday, April 30th, 2010

At long last, the saga continues- Composer and videogame legend Tommy Tallarico’s vision is finally realized in high definition with the release of GAMER WARZ PART 2.

Another joint production between Mega64 and Tommy Tallarico, this film continues the story and themes presented in the original “Gamer Warz” movie. The cast of characters find themselves trapped in another dispute, as they each defend their portable console of choice. The themes conveyed in the piece define our current generation’s need for portable device superiority- This award winning film serves as a reflection of an era of electronic status. Feel free to use the official Mega64 forums to discuss your thoughts and theories on the piece.

Join us on Sunday for a live discussion on Gamer Warz 2, and other subjects, at 7PM here on Mega64.com and Ustream.
