Whether it be GDC, Version 3, or any convention we’ve been at in the last year, there’s probably a million places you could have seen our Mirror’s Edge video before. But we thought it was about time to let this sucker out of the vault for a little piece of the Youtube parkour-pie. Now, nobody’s going to argue that this is Mega64′s strongest showing by any means; But you must admit, there’s a certain charm to its wardrobe. For cross-dressing and red-furniture-bounding fun, check out the Mirror’s Edge video.

And by all means, come back tomorrow- Although we didn’t go live this last Sunday, we DO have a freshly recorded podcast to go up here and on iTunes tomorrow. It’s a special one and I think you’ll enjoy it… unless you actually wanted us to talk about anything relevant. Hmmm. Stay tuned.

Can you believe it’s that time of year again? The San Diego Comic Con is rapidly approaching, and it’s probably already about time that we gave you SOME reason to come visit us there.

First off, we’ll be at Booth 5137, next to this one Maddox guy. Not only will we be signing whatever stuff comes our way, but we’ll be offering a brand new Con Exclusive 2010 DVD that we will only be offering at this year’s SDCC and PAX Prime events! We honestly think this is one of the best “exclusive” discs we’ve ever offered- it’s definitely a mindbender. It contains the exclusive video “CONVENTIONZ”… and a surprise or two! Be sure to come by and pick one up. Of course, the whole crew will be there, with all our gear ready to go. But you may want to ask about our secret trivia challenge… like previous years, we may just have 20 exclusive prints to give away… as in only 20 in existence… But you really, really want to watch Version 3 over and over before you even think about asking.

Anyway, so we hope you’ll come visit us then. In the meantime, why not enjoy some fine art?

For our Version 3 DVD, we recruited the help of our friend Emily “Ferret” Irwin to do the menu artwork. She has a knack for making subjects look much more important than they are (See our portrait prints for the best example of that), so we thought she could bring true valor to some of Mega64′s most obscure characters. And we’d say she did a pretty amazing job- We’ve had a million requests to post the artwork on the site. So here it is! We’ve thrown them up here in their original 1920×1080 resolution. There’s even an extra image of master emcee Donny Bueno that we unfortunately didn’t have a chance to use. Click below to check them out!

You might have some burning questions, still- Is there a live podcast tonight? Well, the answer is no. Live shows will be on hiatus until further notice, because of Comic Con and a bunch of other crap. We’ll keep you posted… BUT, there will still be a fresh, new recorded podcast here and on iTunes on Tuesday. Come back for that.

And as for Comic Con, we wanted to address a few things as well. First off, no, there won’t be a screening during the show this year. We figured you guys knew that, since we hadn’t announced anything by now, but we got a lot of emails about it even still! But no, we’re taking this year off from that. We hope you don’t mind.

Secondly, as you may know, Rocco’s new shirt design will be available for the first time at Comic Con. Well, we discovered there was a MASSIVE shortage in Large shirts at the ol’ factory, so, if you wear Large shirts, you pretty much want to come get one of these new ones on the first day. They will be gone, presumably, pretty quickly. But if you miss out, don’t fret- We’ll be bringing back a ton of shirts with us, including the black Sexy64 “Elite” shirts… and maybe even another mystery shirt design for the hardcore fans! Come and see for yourself.
