Something has survived from the ancient era of 2006… A treasure much sought after by Mega64′s hardcore fans has been discovered! Dug up from a dark closet deep within Mega64′s hallowed halls, we bring you their Game Head special from 2006. Shot at Shawn’s dad’s house, this special also marks the first time the infamous Resident Evil 4 skit was seen anywhere!

This was the first time that so much airtime/attention was really given to the crew, so you can see how we generally didn’t really… know what to do. We had relatives calling us, saying “YOU LOOK SO NERVOUS,” to which we scoffed at… until today, when we realized they were completely right.

BONUS TRIVIA: The network actually really wanted to show where we edited the videos (which was unfortunately not at Shawn’s house), so the gang put together a laptop and three broken speakers and put them in a fireplace, and told them everything was produced there. The film crew thought that was too weird and filmed Shawn’s bed instead.

Enjoy the special, and don’t forget that Mega64 is, in fact, still alive- Though we may inundate you with artifacts of the past for now, it’s only because we are busy working on things to make the future a lot cooler. That goes for the live podcast taping tomorrow- it might happen, it might not. Stay tuned for any updates and we’ll let you know.

Long ago, an alliance was made between Aquabats and men. This brave masked band agreed to let the mere children of Mega64 use their timeless songs and compositions in their cornucopia of video whimsy.  However, there was the promise that one day, these children may repay the favor to this most legendary band of musical fighting heroes…

We have come to honor that allegiance.

Mega64 has signed on to regularly contribute to The Aquabats Super Show, debuting on March 3rd on the rad cable channel The Hub. Make no mistake- this show is very much within The Aquabats universe, and is just about nothing but raw concentration of monsters, battles, and The Aquabats’ music blasting triumphantly. But every now and then, keep an eye out for a Mega64-flavored moment in the show… you will feel it in your bones.

We’ll be contributing all kinds of fun stuff throughout the coming season- stay tuned to our site to hear about any stuff you should look out for.

Now obviously, this is why we’ve been a little more quiet on the internet lately. We’ve been busy, sure… But don’t think for a second that we have forgotten about you, the Mega64 fans who crave more videos… We will be back soon, and better than ever! Just you wait and see!
