THANK YOU

Today, we at Mega64 release our nearly-half-hour 10th anniversary episode, SEQUENCE ERASE. It contains many surprises, secrets, and special guests.

This video is to say thank you. Thank you to the people who stuck with us over the past decade. Thank you to the people who checked our website every week for new videos, back when YouTube wasn't invented. Thank you to the people who downloaded our MPEG files and kept them to a CD-R to show their friends. Thank you to the people who went to 711 to see if they had the new Electronic Gaming Monthly with our DVD in it.

Thank you to the people who asked their parents to use their credit card when our first DVD came out. Thank you to everyone who subscribed to us when we set up our first YouTube channel.

Thank you to the people who defended us in the comments when IGN started posting our videos. Thank you to the people that ran to see us when we showed up at our first PAX.

This is for those who felt like part of a family when they sent our videos to a friend or a website. For the people who first came to Gamedays to spend a magical day with us at Disneyland. For the people who went on to make their own videos and creative endeavors on their own. For the people who knew, deep down, that something could be stupid and special at the same time. The desire to play games, but never have to play the game. The funny, the caring, the creative, the encouraging, the inspiring. The people that stopped to say something nice to us at the airport when they knew they were already late for their flight. There's a strange little island off in the foggy distance of the internet- it isn't the biggest, it isn't the best, it isn't the most inviting. But we came from there. And we're still there. And you'll always find us there. And every one of your random visits- even if it was just to check if we were still alive- has been treasure enough to make it worth our stay.

Thank you on behalf of everyone at Mega64 for over 10 beautiful years.
