Okay, here’s the deal, dudes. We’re gonna be at Anime Expo in Anaheim on Saturday, July 1st, at 7PM, in room LP1. This is going to honestly be the best panel you could ever hope to attend. We’ve heard some rumors that there’s a music video contest going on at the same time or something, but trust me, that thing’s gonna be crap compared to what we’re showing. We’ve got our own amine music videos that are sure to blow the doors off whatever you made about Narturo or One Peace. Plus, we’ll be showing brand new, never before seen skits from our upcoming Version 2 DVD (Out on July 20th!). Plus, we may even have a bunch of free stuff and special guests. This DVD is so rad, seriously! Not to mention, even the damn soundtrack rocks. We’ve got Josh Jones doing the original score, and The Aquabats returning to bring the rockage. Oh, and there’s a new band joining the roster this time around: Freezepop, anyone?

July 20th, guys. It’s coming quick!

Now, you know by now that July 20th is also the first day of the San Diego Comic Con. That’s no surprise. But did you know we’re releasing a brand new Mega64 Comic Con 2006 Exclusive DVD that same day?! Seriously. Two new DVD releases on the same day. Needless to say, we’ve been pulling some all nighters ’round the Mega64 HQ.

The DVD is gonna be super cheap too. You gotta stop by our booth at Comic Con and pick both DVDs up. Only here’s the thing- We might not even have a booth. The folks at Comic Con have been super vague with us, even now that we’re this close to the show starting. So we don’t know what’s gonna happen yet. We’re gonna try to get the Comic Con DVD in our online store if there’s any left over as well. We’ll keep you posted as soon as we know anything!

We want to end this epic update on the best note possible. Everyone knows that Mega64 is all about quality. We don’t release anything unless it is absolutely flawless. A few days ago we did a panel at Anime Expo (which turned out super killer, thanks to all that came!), and we debuted an absolutely stunning music video we think you need to see. Once again we were disqualified from the AMV contest, which is an absolute joke. They didn’t even send us equipment to capture anime footage for the video, so the video isn’t as good as it could be. But I think we all still know who the real winner is. Click here to enjoy this timeless musical epic that we have created for the true Japanimation fans.
