We’re about to fly off to GDC, but we wanted to let you know that if you plan on buying the new “Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2″ game for the Xbox 360 this week, expect to get a new Mega64 video- Apparently when you buy the game, you get a link to a secret website that has a mysterious video (made by us here at Mega64) on it. This video is undoubtedly, unarguably the best video ever made for a game, so you definitely want to buy Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 just for that.

We also wanted to apologize for the Version 1 DVD not being back on sale yet- The place where our DVDs are shipped from is moving locations, so it’s taking a little while. We’d say we’ll have them back on sale within a week, two at the worst.

The Mega64 Podcast Episode 15 is online! This one is really long, almost 90 minutes. Play it during your favorite 90 minute movie and it’s just like listening to a fresh commentary track! It should sync up to pretty much any movie, but ESPECIALLY Baby Geniuses.

In a shocking turn of events, someone has leaked Mega64′s “Local Leaders” video to YouTube! This video was made for Ubisoft as an exclusive video that you get when you buy Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 for Xbox 360. But, as if to shatter Ubisoft’s dreams forever, some cretin uploaded it to the popular video site, YouTube! So we thought, if it leaked, we might as well show off our leak, right? Watch the video, soak it in, and if you want to download a fancier version of the video to your hard drive… buy the game, I guess?

If that new video doesn’t do it for you, you may be better off just watching our recent Super Mario Bros. skit for the 600th time. But what if I said that this time, you could watch it on national TV? That’s right, Mega64 is making another appearance on SpikeTV’s “GameHead” on Friday, April 27th! It’s a Shigeru Miyamoto tribute show, and they’ll be showing our SMB skit we filmed with him, plus a bonus segment featuring the Mega64 crew giving their take on the genius that is Miyamoto. Watch it, won’t you?

Also, we just signed up to do something called “PAX.” We thought that was either a TV network, or a Kevin Spacey movie. But I guess it’s some convention? Oh well, it’ll probably be dead, but I guess we’ll be there anyway! More on that later.

And our old school Mega64 Classic Logo shirts are FINALLY BACK ON SALE! We also unearthed a big crate of Mega64 E3 2005 DVDs that we didn’t even know existed (Pretty random, eh?), so we’re throwing ‘em in for free. Not a bad deal, Larry. Not a bad deal.
