As you may have heard on this week’s podcast, Mega64 has announced GameDays 2010!

In an attempt to combat last year’s disastrous attempt, we’re gonna be chilling at Disneyland on Sunday, September 26th, roaming around and meeting gamers/gamelords such as yourselves!

It’s about time we had a day at Disneyland, isn’t it?

There’ll be more information on this page coming soon. Check it out and be sure to get a Gamedays shirt to commemorate the event (We know they still say 2009, but that’s to commemorate its important birth. Duh).

In all honesty, it’s gonna be totally chill- we’ll have a list of a handful of things we know we’re doing that day, and we’ll let you know where to meet us around then. No biggie. Us game-men love to relax, right?

In much sadder news, a bunch of stuff is sold out of our online store. HAT shirts and Colossus shirts are already sold out. One of these exhibited great design- The other was a shirt that said “HAT” on it. Both, however, equally tragic.

Some sizes of other shirts are missing too. Your best bet is to come see us at PAX next month and pray for a restock!

Today we have uploaded our Q&A session from the Mega64 Panel at Anime Expo 2010. As usual, we cut out the videos we showed (for secretive purposes) and all memes and references to “the game” (for tolerance purposes). We hope you understand. Also, we are finally uploading stuff to Youtube again, so thank god for that.

One of the big announcements we’ve been waiting to tell you about is our new friendship with Penny Arcade’s “PATV.” Well, I guess it really isn’t a NEW friendship, we’ve been going to PAX for years and stuff… but you get the idea.

Starting today, you’ll be seeing new monthly short films by Mega64 on Penny Arcade TV. We use the pretentious term “short films” because while what we might do on sites like IGN are fast-paced, current-gaming-event type stuff, the videos we put on PATV likely won’t be. We’ll be producing longer-form, thought-provoking art pieces that will make you glad you have this thing called “Internet.” Also, by watching these videos on PATV, you’re getting to see them weeks before we would normally put them on Youtube or whatever. SICK DEAL, BRO!!

So in honor of this momentous occasion, we thought it best to really “kick things off” with a video that would make the Penny Arcade guys completely regret ever making this deal in the first place: It’s an educational short film called “iDosing.” This piece demonstrates the up and coming danger our children face in the form of digital drugs, and how to successfully overcome them. We hope you find value in this piece as we encourage you to “put the headphones down.”
