Mega64: The Soundtrack! On Sale September 3rd!

Finally, after years of people asking for it, it’s coming- Mega64: The Soundtrack! Featuring 25 tracks across Mega64’s past and present, this CD compiles songs from our most memorable videos- And many you probably could not remember if you tried.

Plus, it’ll come with a full color 24 page booklet inside, containing lyrics, notes from the crew, unseen photos, and other fun stuff! Get yours on September 3rd.

Okay, now I’m gonna be totally honest here- This is one of my favorite pieces of merchandise that we’ve ever sold. I’m probably way overhyping a CD here, but this thing is so filled with Mega64 nostalgia that it was a real kick to work on. I think the truly hardcore Mega64 fans will appreciate it the most- This thing’s filled with a lot of memories. And we wanted our first soundtrack to be actually worthy of your money, too; That’s why we included a book packed with stuff (And how about that cover by Forkbanger, huh?) It turned out awesome and I am so excited for it to come out. That’s more good news, too: Not only will it be available here at mega64.com on September 3rd, but those who visit us at PAX in Seattle will be able to pick up a copy that day as well! We’ll have more news on PAX stuff later, and a full tracklisting for the album, so do come back.

Unrelated, but still noteworthy today is one last news item out of left-field: Our SpikeTV Video Game Awards commercials we put on Youtube in like, 2006, are back up on Youtube. You know, commercials like this one. We’re not even sure if they work anymore. Whatever. We won our counterattack against Viacom for taking these down in the first place. Now they’re back. The world rejoices. Whatever.

In an attempt to combat last year’s disastrous attempt, we’re gonna be chilling at Disneyland on Sunday, September 26th, roaming around and meeting gamers/gamelords such as yourselves!

It’s about time we had a day at Disneyland, isn’t it?

There’ll be more information on this page coming soon. Check it out and be sure to get a Gamedays shirt to commemorate the event (We know they still say 2009, but that’s to commemorate its important birth. Duh).

In all honesty, it’s gonna be totally chill- we’ll have a list of a handful of things we know we’re doing that day, and we’ll let you know where to meet us around then. No biggie. Us game-men love to relax, right?

In much sadder news, a bunch of stuff is sold out of our online store. HAT shirts and Colossus shirts are already sold out. One of these exhibited great design- The other was a shirt that said “HAT” on it. Both, however, equally tragic.

Some sizes of other shirts are missing too. Your best bet is to come see us at PAX next month and pray for a restock!
